You may be wondering what do video game and film makers have in common.  You can see many of the same features between video game and film makers. For example they both work with animation. A lot of films today require the usage of animation work on computers. There are also many films that are based off of video games, they include:

• Super Mario Brothers:  Super Mario Brothers was a popular game in late 1980s to early 1990s, the film made off of the video game was released on May 28, 1993.
• Double Dragon: Double Dragon was a fighting game made in 1987. The film based off of the video game was released in 1994
• Mortal Kombat: The video game Mortal Kombat was released in 1994, with the film releasing in 1995.
• Doom: Doom the video game was a popular series releasing in 1993. The film based on the video game released in 2005.
• Max Payne: May Payne was a popular video game in 2001. The film of the same name released in 2008.
• Hitman: Hitman first released on console in 2000.  The movie did not do as well in the box office when it released in 2007.
• Prince of Persia: Prince of Persia was originally developed for console play in 1989. The film followed years after in 2010.
• Laura Croft Tomb Raider: The video game series was developed in 2001, with a movie following in 2003.

As you can see many video game and film makers have many similarities with some video games being developed on to the big screen. Video game and film makers have a fun job in today’s day and age. They take everyone away from their daily life stressors for a brief period of time when playing a game or watching a movie.
